Research Honor Roll

Research plays a vital role in accomplishing the mission of UMaine. Many faculty receive part or all of their salaries from extramural sources, and many courses and other valuable learning experiences are a direct result of these activities. These projects also contribute substantially to the operating budget of UMaine, through the recovery of indirect cost money (money specifically designated to defray the "hidden" costs incurred by departments and UMaine due to these activities). The purpose of this page is to give recognition to the faculty and professional staff that are at the forefront of the research and development effort.
